The tray is 20 inches by 10 inches. Each cell is 1 inch by 1 inch by 1 inch deep. These are used, but can be cleaned with soap and water before starting your seeds. These trays are what the professional greenhouses use to start their seeds. Add seed starter mix. (Can find at local Garden Center) You put a seed or two in each cell. After the plants fill in the cells with roots, you can transplant the plants to large pots with out disturbing there roots or breaking the roots apart like you do with the old seed starting flats.
