1961 Cast Iron Japanese Incense Burner Original Box Start Price USD 19.99 Current Price USD 27.99 Time Left - Bid Count 4 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Monday, September 01, 2008 End Time Monday, September 08, 2008 Location morris, CT See more about '1961 Cast Iron Japanese Incense Burner Original Box' Description You are bidding on a Vintage Japanese Cast Iron Incense Burner in Original Box from the year Showa 36 (1961).  This burner came out of an estate where the couple travelled extensively.  The burner is lidded and interior there is a small tray (which can be removed) which can hold up to 8 pieces of incense.  The tray has an embossed design on it and there are embossed characters printed on the inside of the upper cover.  This burner measures 4 1/2" tall by just under 4" in diameter.  It comes in it's original box which also contains 3 pieces of paper with print on them.  I have been told it is a Japanese burner from the year Showa 36 (or 1961).  It is in excellent condition and does not appear to have ever been used. There is some slight surface wear on the exterior lid as well as some slight surface rusting on the interior rim, however I think this is due to storage conditions and not usage.   A very Nice Vintage 1861 Japanese Cast Iron Incense Burner in Original Box!   Please feel free to email me with any questions or if you need additional information.   I WANT YOU TO BE HAPPY!  I do not accept returns so ask questions before you bid, however please contact me if the item has not been accurately described.
