This specie is a very easy specie to keep. All they require is some sort of aeration in their tank to help with oxygen in the water. This can be accomplished with an air stone and air pump. This specie can become very friendly toward its owner. I raise these myself and all my white crayfish come to me when its time to eat and when they "think" its time to eat. More then 1 can be kept together although you will need many hiding spaces to avoid cannibalism during molts.
