Cypress Porch Swing Wood Outdoor Furniture' Description All-Cypress Porch Swing (Hand-Made in Louisiana)   Porch Swing w/ chain sets has 6' slats...made from #1 Select Louisiana Cypress.  I've been making this same design swing for 20 years...I have NEVER had a swing break!!!  They've made it through floods, thunderstorms and Hurricane Rita...built to last!!!    Standard Features include: Galvanized 5/16” Bolts / Nuts Lifetime / Outdoor Screws Used EVERY screw used is countersunk to prevent splitting and splintering Adjustable angle on the seat and back… simply loosen the nuts, adjust the angle (sit up straighter or lean back more) then tighten up the nuts again! (see pix)  Most of the swings that I’ve sold…people actually like to tighten down the nuts just enough so that when you sit in the swing…the back is straight…then you lean back to stretch the back to a comfortable sitting angle.  When you get up, the swing will usually return to a more upright position. Everything is sanded with 220 grit sandpaper for an extra smooth finish All edges routed...no sharp edges anywhere!
