I bought this silver at an Estate Sale in Corsicana Texas, and I believe that this was bought in 1948 from the note in the silver box.  It was a gift card and it says, "June 12, 1948 Happy Anniversary,  This gift has come to wish you the best of luck in all you do.  Love Mother and Dad."  Inside it says, "Something to use everyday and always."   The card will be enclosed with the silver.  The original guarantee from Community is also included. This is a lovely set of silverplate.  It has been kept in very good condition, and I think used very little.  The wood box has only a few small scratches, it's in great condition considering it's 60 years old.
