Description PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING. THIS LISTING WILL ALSO BE YOUR INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO STRATIFY AND PLANT YOUR SEEDS! THIS IS THE LARGEST LOT OF RARE SEEDS I HAVE OFFERED SO FAR! It's that time of year again when me kids and I start plucking the seeds from all our Japanese Maples here at the nursery. Up for auction is a lot of 880 Japanese Maple seeds from 10 different varieties. You get 100 seeds of each of these, Osakazuki, Green Acer(bonsai), Red Acer, Shime No Uchi, Oshio Beni, and Bloodgood. Then you'll get 50 seeds of these types, Maiku Jaku Dancing Peacock, Kinran, Suminagashi, Seriyu, Villa Taranto, and I'm throwing in my last 30 SUPER RARE seeds of the Grandma's Ghost. They will all come in their own seperate pouch and labeled. All you do is dry our the seeds indoors on newspaper for about a week or so. Once dried strip off the wings and all you'll have left if the little beebee like seed. Soak those in water for 2-3 days, strain and put in plastic sandwich bags and label them, then stick them in the refer crisper drawer until March 1st. Then plant them in well drained soil, any bagged potting soil mix or just add bark to local soil. Plant them an inch or so, cover them up and wait till spring. You never know what you're gonna get! Some look like the parent plants and some are so off the beatin path of what they're supposed to look like. One thing is for sure, this is an in-expensive way to grow your own maples and have fun doing it too. Me and my kids have a ball every year!
