Inserts are clean.  These are the same trays that the professionals use to grow your own plants.  The trays are plastic and perforated on the bottom for drainage.  The inserts are a lighter plastic and are perforated on the edges to be pulled apart in packs of 6. Each cell on the inserts measures 1 1/2 inches wide x 2 inches deep.  Selling many other trays and pots.  If you don't see what you need, just ask. Many more available upon request.
