Not something I normally make but I have made a set of fruit using highly decorative woods.  The apple in chakte coke and orange in lacewood, both 7.5cm diameter and long.  Pear in Spanish Olivewood 7.5diameter x 10cm long, banana in laburnum 21cm long and two plums in pau rosa 4cm diameter x 6cm long.  The combined cost of the wood alone is over £13 so the starting price is a great bargain.
