It is hand appliquéd and hand quilted by me. There is well over 400 hours involved in the making of this quilt. The outer edge is made up of a Parrot and a vine of flowers on two corners, with a background of crosshatching. The quilting work on this quilt is superb at 7-9 stitches to the inch. This quilt was made with 100% cotton fabrics for the top of the quilt. Lightweight polyester was used for the batting. This keeps the quilt light but extremely warm. The backing is 100% cotton.
