The deco man is dressed like a harlequin clown, and it looks like he is blowing a large bubble.  The missing lid was probably the other half of the bubble.  He is made of some kind of gray metal with a painted finish.  The colors are green, red, silver, and black.  The overall measurement is 4-1/2" long, 2" wide, and 4" tall. There are no signatures or manufacture marks that we could find, but he is quality, and possibly made by Vantines or Art Metal Works.  The estimated value was $150.00 according to the estate.  Our reserve is only $75.00.  The condition is amazingly very good - shows wear and some missing paint, but no chips, breaks, dents, or repairs. This fabulous deco piece came from an estate in San Francisco, and is vintage. He has a great deco look - very charming and unique. A rare and wonderful find. Pictures don't do him justice. He is truly a quality piece, and would make a wonderful addition to someone's collection. Buyer pays shipping and insurance.
