I made it from 1/4" clear acrylic and all joints have been solvent welded so this won't pull apart. No sharp edges, all edges have been flame polished. All seed and water from birds bathing is kept inside. Plenty of ventilation from 1/2" holes on the sides and the roof is spaced ribs. The bottom is removable (screws)and the bottom tray slides out for cleaning. The right angle piece in the forground of the open tray goes in the tray opening so your birds don't escape while the tray is being cleaned. The roof of the handmade nesting box is removable, as well as the nesting box itself. The elevated water bowl/bath in the bottom of the cage is a separate item and is weighted so it won't tip over. Removable seed and gravel trays and holders. The long handled cup at the side of the cage is for filling seed and gravel trays without disturbing the birds much. It takes a very few minutes for birds to realise their boundries and don't fly into the sides. Plenty of perches and flying space. I had 2 very happy Zebra Finches living in this cage for a little over a year and a half. It has been well cleaned and disinfected. It measures 25.5"wide x 16.5"deep x 32"tall. This is 1 of 2 built. The other is slightly narrower and is also listed. I have listed this for pickup only. I don't know of a safe way to ship it, short of creating a wooden crate for it.
