At one point they decided to stop making them. They are the same exact purifier as the Eagle 2500. They came in special colors/textures to fit into the Salon decor better. It would fit into many decors better :-) These units are work horses and built in the USA to last and last! Commercial grade. The unit is new with original box, packing material, set of 3 glass plates, attached power cord, rear lint screen, and instruction manual. Replacement parts are easy to obtain if needed as they are all Eagle 2500 parts. Note: The glass plates work great and clean up well. They are a little fragile and care needs to be taken putting them in and taking them out. If you would like a new set of more durable ceramic plates as a backup; I can include 3 Salon Aire 2000 matched Ecoquest ceramic plates for $30 additional. The Salon Aire 2000 unit is very similar, just slightly smaller. A fantastic deal if you do not need the full power of the 5000 (The Salon Aire 3000 is the same as the 5000).
