The inside is tin plated and the outside is highly polished copper. The joints are brass and threaded. The pot holds 3 gallons, full to the rim, so it would hold about 2.5 gallons of working mix. The mark 900, located on the top of the pot is the only mark I can find. No manufacturer ID has been located. This unique item was picked up at a local estate sale and no history was available. There were two areas on the bottom that had heavy plaque discoloration and when inspecting the interior of the pot, two pin holes were found. We had a local tin shop repair these two pin holes.
