(No inferior chemically treated grade C wood) Wood does not contain any dead knots, pinholes,wrap affected piece of wood etc. Wood is kiln dried before and after manufacturing. Teak wood is purchased directly from Indonesian government agency. Furniture is natural finish, first 3 sanding are done by machine and final touch by experience hands. Yes, you can leave it in rain, snow, or harsh sun. So please  stop inventing ways to protect , good teak wood does not need one. Maintenance free teak furniture can last almost 50 years or even more.Do not apply teak oil on your furniture unless you want to use it for indoor. If  left outdoor oil layer on the furniture starts cracking thin 3 months, now you have to sand it and re-apply, and guys remember thats your job.
