Description
You are bidding on a 330 plant site rotating hydroponic unit. The model is Odyssey 330, and uses the reliable flood/drain (ebb/flow) hydroponics system. The plants rotating around a central light source of 2 bulbs, each 1000 watt (2000w in total). This unit comes complete with:Pumps, timers, air cooled tube, motor, plant trays, drip tray, 2 x 1000 watt ballasts, all wiring, sockets, even bulbs!NOT INCLUDED: reservoir (pick a size that works for you - will cost about $100 new at a hydro store, far less used, or you can use something around the house like a small kids swimming pool), rockwool cubes (cost 50 cents each, you need 330 of them), clones (can't help you unless you are a licensed medical grower living in Canada). NOTE: for best results, only load the machine to about 80 - 90% capacity, so 300 rockwool cubes is about the most you should put in. The unit for sale has some small scuffs of the paint, which is normal after being used - photos available upon request. Priced accordingly. The machine was used for 2 full years, and the owners are now moving on to other things. Total assembled size is just under 6x6x6 and the unit weighs a few hundred pounds (not exactly sure).Expected yield varies on experience, but beginners generally get 3 - 5 lbs per cycle and after a few cycles you will get 7 - 10 lbs, particularly if you use CO2 (CO2 system not included, but costs about $200 from any hydro store). The primary advantages of these system is WAAAY less space and energy compared to normal growing. Consider the advantages: a normal setup this size requires a large area (for this yield easily two 10x10 rooms), between 4 - 10 lights, and then all the related equipment - larger fans, big air conditioners, larger CO2 generator, more noise, more heat, and of course: more rent, more electricity and more money. The investment is well worth it and will pay for itself several times over in the first cycle (particularly for you Americans!). You can fit up to 4 of these in a 12 x 12 room, or one in a large walk-in closet. These machines are designed to take clones in 4x4 inch rockwool cubes. You pop the clones in, veg for a few days only (one week at most), then bloom right away. The entire cycle should be about 8 weeks from start to finish allowing 6 cycles per year. Far different than growing in soil where you might veg for a month or more. If you use lots of small plants and bloom right away you get way more over the course of a year because you get so many more cycles in. Here are some photos of these units in action: NOTE: different model, but exactly the same system:http://www.fullmeltbubble.com/forum/showthread.php?t=416Brand new these units sell in the range of $6,000 - $10,000. If bidding does not reach at least $3000 US then you pay full shipping and you MUST contact me to make arrangements. I will coordinate shipping for a reasonable price, but would prefer if you contact a shipping company to come pick it up. We can discuss details. Please disregard the shipping price associated with this listing and use this paragraph of text as the exact shipping details. These units RARELY come up for sale on ebay (trust me I checked regularly for over a year). I will sell to the highest bidder and there is NO RESERVE. The unit is also posted locally so if it sells here with cash in hand here I will pull the listing.
