Description
Henri Toulouse Lautrec - Les Chansonniers de Montmarte Offering a beautiful custom framed vintage fine art lithograph titled Les Chansonniers de Montmartre by French artist Henri de Toulouse Lautrec (1864-1901), a gifted artist / poster maker who is most famous for his drawings of life in the bohemian arts district of Montmartre in Paris and the cabaret Moulin Rouge during the Belle Epoque (beautiful era). Lautrec's large, flamboyant posters were a common sight in 1890s Paris and are still popular today. In this poster a French publication is being advertised in a bold and impactful manner. Size: 53" x 38" This is not your average poster. This print is a hand-pulled, limited-edition fine art lithograph of the finest quality, printed on an antique press at the world-renowned S2 Art Center and Atelier in Las Vegas. Each individual color contained in this lithograph is put down one color at a time, then hand-pulled one sheet at a time from the printing press, and carefully hung to dry. After drying, the process is repeated for each individual color. This technique ensures the most vivid, accurate color and is guaranteed to last a lifetime. This is one of Lautrec's most famous works, professionally custom framed with a black mat and black wood frame. This custom framing accents the graphic elements and colors contained in the drawing. The lighter areas you see on the image are reflections from the flash and do not appear on the actual piece. There is NO shipping on this item. Buyer must pick up this item in Clearwater, Florida. Payment accepted in cash at the time of pick-up. Cash payment and pick up due within five days of auction close. Please contact us to make arrangements for pick up.
