The scented smoke is allowed to escape its enclosure and mix with the air through several four pointed holes cut into it. These holes also allow the air to be perfumed with any other type of scent or solid incense you might wish to place in the inner compartment. And this censer's small footprint allows it to be placed nearly anywhere, from shelf to tabletop to altar. The exterior of this solid brass incense burner is uncoated, allowing it to gain a beautiful antique patina over time. If this natural antiquing isn't wanted, it can easily be removed by a quick polish. This item is hand-crafted, please expect some variation and slight irregularities.
