It is made of cast aluminum. Cast aluminum will not rust and is similiar to cast iron but not as heavy.The mantle in the picture is a distressed antique almond. We can paint it a different color to fit your decor.  The fireplace mantle is new and very well made. The mantle is 45 1/2 inches tall and 62 inches across at the top. The opening for the fireplace is 36 3/4 inches by 32 3/4 inches. Shipping, insurance and crating to the nearest freight terminal or a business address is $150.00.
