This was a wedding gift in the year 1969...and I doubt is was used more than once (if that). It still has its original box, and styrofoam packing pieces.  It also includes its original instructions. I plugged it in yesterday, and the electric base heats well. The stoneware crock has a 2 quart capacity, and from what I can see, is in perfect condition...no scratches or chips.
