White Block Germany Hallmark on the base of each with the letters JLBS within the rising sun.As with just about every Canister Set we see that comes in to our Antiques Shop- there are condition issues. Overall this set is very lovely- but it too, has some minor issues. Here's what our careful inspection has noticed: The Coffee and Sugar Canisters have hairline cracks on the outside and do show also on the inside as shown.The inside rim of the Salt Canister has a small chip.The Rice Canister lid has a small chip under the lid around the rim. The Vinegar Cruet has a chip in the spout area as shown.The Gold trim has some light wear. For the age these canisters are in very good condition but will need a little cleaning.
